THE MARTY ROSE BAND – Friday 25th January

Marty Rose is renowned as the piano man of Australia and he has been playing solo for about 25 years. He was a regular guest on the ‘Good Morning Australia’ TV show that was hosted by Burt Newton, and he has worked with such artists as Olivia Newton John and Lisa Edwards, as well as preforming for Lady Di and Prince Charles on their Australian tour.

After the Little River Band (LRB), David Briggs stopped touring as he set his sights on discovering new talent and found ‘Aussie Crawl’, producing their first two albums. David is a Grammy nominated performer and is in the Australian Aria Hall of Fame. He is a record producer and member of LRB, and brings with him his great guitar playing and of cause a handful of LRB songs that has made him world famous with over 30 million records sold and a string of awards such as ‘Guitar Player of the Year’ in the US with the LRB being awarded in to the Australian Rocking Roll Hall of Fame, and paved the way for many new Australian bands and musicians.

Pip Joyce has worked with all the greats including Glenn Shorrock, Brian Cadd and Doug Parkinson, and is a fine singer and guitar player. He has played with Glenn Shorrock for the past 12 years and recently worked on the APIA Rock Tour. Jo Imbroll has played on all the great Australian albums including Ian Moss and Brian Cadd. As the bass player and vocalist, he is the foundation of what makes the Marty Rose Band rock. Peter Fearn has played drums for Chuck Berry, Colleen Hewitt, Daryl Sommers, Wilbur Wilde and The Paul McKay Sound.

Door, bar and beer garden open at 6:00pm, show starts at 7:30pm. (Please note CASH BAR only. There is an ATM outside Garfield Pharmacy if needed.)

Light supper will be provided at interval. Please advise if there are any dietary requirements prior to event.

Dress code for event is smart casual. Please consider the theatre’s wooden floors and do not wear stilettos.
